My trading system/style Part 1 Ichimoku Kinko Hyo

 *THIS POST IS NOT FINISHED*

First of all i will say that Forex trading is not for everyone and can be risky and you can lose a lot of money. When i first started trading Forex i thought of it as gambling and that was a horrible idea. If you decide to get into Forex trading you should never think of it as gambling and realize that you need a strategy because the markets move in certain was that repeat themselves. Once you figure out the ways the the markets repeat themselves then you can take that knowledge and apply it to the markets and make educated trades and not just gamble. I am also not guaranteeing any of this trading system that i use will make you money it has for me but i just cant guarantee anything for anyone else. Before i get into posting any of my trades i am gonna explain the system i use for my trading. My system is actually a combination of two trading systems that i have found to work extremely well for me and maybe it could work for u too. The two systems that i use is Ichimoku Kinko Hyo and the Fibonacci retracement. First i will explain a little history about Ichimoku Kinko Hyo and what it is and how to use it then i will explain the Fibonacci retracement. the translation from Japanese to English of  Ichimoku Kinko Hyo is " equilibrium chart at a glance". Ichimoku Kinko Hyo was created by a Japanese news paper man who was named Goichi Hosoda, he and some students ran threw formulas and scenarios for more than twenty years until he released his book with the final version of the system in 1968. This system has been used successfully in trading currencies, commodities, futures, and stocks since it was released. this trading system was extremely popular in Asia but it did not make it to the western traders until the 1990's. Even then most people thought it was to hard to understand and too exotic for them. In the 21st century it has finally caught on to a lot of traders in the west and they have realized its great potential for making trades accurately. The ichimoku Kinko Hyo charting system is comprised of five different indicators, all of these indicators work together to give you a good picture/ overview of what the currency pair that is being traded is doing at that time. these five different indicators are:
  1. Tenkan Sen (Turning Line)- How the Tenkan Sen is calculated is adding the highest high and the lowest low of the last 9 periods and dividing by 2.
  2. Kijun Sen(Standard Line)- How the Kijun Sen is calculated is by adding the highest high and lowest low for the last 26 periods and dividing by 2.
  3. Chikou Span (Lagging Line)- The Chikou Span is determined by taking the current closing price of the pair and shifting it back (into the past) 26 periods.
  4. Senkou Span A (1st leading Line)- How to calculate the Senkou Span A is by adding the Tenkan Sen and the Kijun Sen then dividing by 2 and shifting that number 26 periods into the future.
  5. Senkou Span B (2nd Leading Line) How to calculate the Senkou Span B is by adding the highest high and the lowest low for the last 52 periods and dividing by 2, and then shifting that number 26 periods into the future.
The Senkou Span A and B are used together and form what is known as the "Kumo" or cloud. This picture below shows you on a chart what all of these five indicators look like when they are used together on a chart.
